Thirsty Gwinnett households can get a little relief, now that the outdoor
watering bans have been eased. County commissioners have approved a
day-to-day administrative approach to allowing water use outside. Gwinnett
homeowners can find the up-to-date rules
here and Dekalb
homeowners can find their rules
here.
Both Gwinnett County and Dekalb County will rebate homeowners who retrofit their
property with low-flow technology toilets. If the new fixture replaces an
older device with 1.6 gallons per flush, homeowners can qualify for between $50
and $100 in Gwinnett (depending on the model) and up to $150 in Dekalb.
